You buried me in this ground, to silence the truth within my voice’s sound.

You left me in this unmarked grave, but I was still found by the King of the Saved.

It is written, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” sayeth the Lord.

I remain in prayer as I have sheathed my sword.

Forgive me Lord for my desire to protect others from the pain I feel inside,

from the day my blood left me in this ground to reside.

I am a fallen angel with pain and anger in my heart that only desires to tear evil apart.

As I stand the watch on this tombstone rampart,

my faith in Jesus Christ will never part.
