If words are a collection of letters telling a tale, musical notes are a collection of emotions communicating a feeling.

The journey is finding each letter and note that communicates what is in our hearts as we seek to be heard, as a sailor in a ship that has fallen below the water searches for air to breathe.

I didn’t know what to write until the words fell from my heart onto the paper in front of me piece by piece.

I know the last line of poetry I write will be when my heart no longer has pieces left to fall onto the paper in front of me.
